N’hoval Cove (medium)
N’hoval Cove is a primordial jewel of a cove close to Cork city. Difficult to access the cove is surrounded by iron and ochre friable sandstones in towering cliffs. Exploring the Sea arches and small beaches around the cove, found objects from the area are incorporated into theses sculptural vessels such as sand and pebbles creating texture and colour. The sweeping form of the vessel emulates the creative and destructive forces of nature visible in N’hoval Cove.
Created in three sizes, small, medium and large each vessels is a bespoke creation unique to each making session.
